What makes it different

Slower movements. More focused pressure.

THE EXPERIENCE
Deep Tissue Massage uses slower strokes and concentrated pressure. It can suit someone who prefers a more focused style than a flowing Swedish massage. The aim is a comfortable session with clear communication about pressure.

Explain the level of pressure you prefer before starting. If the pressure feels uncomfortable, ask for it to be reduced. There is no need to judge a massage by how much discomfort you can tolerate.

GOOD TO KNOW
Pressure should be discussed and adjusted. Deep Tissue describes a focused approach, not a requirement to use maximum force.
Swedish emphasises flowing strokes and kneading; Deep Tissue is slower and more concentrated.
